Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Global Synergy Health ("GSH," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with this site and any account registered on it (the "Site"). It applies to every account holder and visitor. It applies in addition to, not in place of, the Terms & Conditions.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  1. Account information — name, email address, phone number, and shipping address, provided when an account is registered or updated.
  2. Order information — the products, quantities, and shipping details associated with each order placed through an approved account, and any internal status GSH records against that order (payment status, fulfillment status, and any note an admin adds while processing it).
  3. Communications — any message sent through the Site's contact form, or directly by email, including the content of that message and the email address used to send it.
  4. Authentication data — a session credential issued when an account holder logs in, used solely to keep that account signed in (see Section 4).

We do not collect payment card numbers or other payment credentials through the Site — the Site itself does not process payment (see the Terms & Conditions, Section 7).

2. How we use information

Information collected is used only to:

  1. administer account registration, approval, and login;
  2. process, fulfill, and communicate about an order, including shipping and payment status updates;
  3. respond to a message sent through the contact form or directly by email;
  4. maintain the security and integrity of the Site, including detecting misuse of the login/approval gate; and
  5. comply with applicable law, or respond to a lawful request for information.

We do not use account or order information to generate advertising, and we do not sell personal information to any third party.

3. How information is shared

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share information only with the following categories of service provider, each acting on our behalf and solely to provide the Site or fulfill an order:

  1. infrastructure providers that host the Site and its database (currently Vercel and Neon);
  2. an email delivery provider used to send account, order, and contact-form communications (currently Resend);
  3. a file-storage provider used to host product images uploaded by GSH administrators (currently Vercel Blob) — this does not include any account holder's personal information; and
  4. a carrier or shipping provider, to the extent necessary to deliver an order to the shipping address provided; and
  5. if an account holder chooses to sign in with Google, Google acts as an identity provider for that sign-in — GSH receives the name and email address Google provides, and does not send any other account or order information to Google.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of GSH, its account holders, or others.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site sets an essential session cookie when an account holder logs in, to keep that account signed in, and — only for an account holder who chooses to sign in with Google — a short-lived cookie used solely to complete that sign-in securely. Neither cookie is used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics, and no third-party advertising or analytics script is loaded on the Site as of the date above.

5. Data retention

Account and order information is retained for as long as the account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for recordkeeping, tax, and legal compliance purposes. An account holder may request deletion of their account as described in Section 7 below; some order records may need to be retained even after an account is deleted, where GSH has a legitimate business or legal reason to do so (for example, financial recordkeeping).

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, including a hashed/salted credential store for login (we never store an account holder's password in plain text) and an encrypted connection between the Site and its database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

An account holder can review and update their name, phone number, and shipping address at any time from their account profile. To request a copy of the information associated with an account, or to request that an account and its associated personal information be deleted, contact globalsynergyhealth.support@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to the retention needs described in Section 5.

8. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to, and no account may be registered by, anyone under 21 years of age — see the eligibility representations in Section 5 of the Research Use Disclaimer. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

9. Changes to this policy

GSH may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on this page. A material change will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
